Razdor now plays by the original Discord Times' own rules, read from the original game and checked against it running side by side: the map, the computer's armies, battles, the economy, spells, items, scenario events and saves. Where the original has a bug, Razdor plays what it evidently meant.
New
- Custom battles from the main menu: pick both armies, levels and items, and play or watch.
- Watched quick battle (W): the AI plays both sides on screen at 1×, 2× or 4×, skippable with Q.
- Spell badges on every unit card, with the spell, its effect and the time left on hover.
- The original's three buttons over the time panel: wait 1 hour, centre on the hero, wait 4 hours.
- A setting for the front row: 6 or 4 cells, applied at once.
- A click or a key stops a wait; an inventory filter; Ctrl+F in the map editor; a cheat console on ~.
Changed
- Walking, the computer's armies, battles, markets, villages, spells, items and events follow the original's code.
- Experience at the install's rate, market prices by attitude rounded as the original, routes cross moving armies.
- The original's sounds and effects: the counterblow, the pause after a win, window, shop and village sounds.
- Quest places are shown right after the quest is taken; save and load stand where the original has them.
Fixed
- The original's own bugs, among them the computer judging a kill by the wrong unit and a winning side surrendering.
- Menu sounds no longer pile up; the back row's ranged defence shows on its card.
